Many people are amazed at my new musculature lately. I was still bulimic-like and puny looking 3 months ago. But, I am not waify looking anymore. I have decided to share my tried and proven methods of gaining lean muscles (and not fat) here after so many of my friends have asked me to reveal my 'hulk out' secrets.
1. Weight training is a proven, fool proof method. If you are above 40 years old or have medical conditions, consult your doctor first before you embark on my training routine.
2. Choose a gym that has barbells, dumb bells, weights and weight lifting bench.
3. Do not waste time on small muscle groups such as biceps and calves if you are a hard gainer like me.
4. Target the bigger muscle parts such as the thighs, back and chest.
5. Do these basic compound exercises (also work the whole body): incline bench press (for the chest); squats (for your quads or legs); chins (for your back and lats); and barbell press (for your shoulders).
6. Do not ignore power lifting exercises. Deadlifts, squats and bench press are the key to hard solid muscles. These exercises are performed by power lifters mainly.
7. Do not forget to take in enough proteins for ultimate muscle growths. Remember this simple rule: take in 1 gram of protein for 1 kg of your bodyweight everyday.
8. Drink 8-10 glasses of water. Eat 6 smaller meals and not 3 large meals a day. Do not shock your body by taking large meals. Your body can better absorb the nutrients over time.
9. Train each body part only once weekly. Each large muscle part needs at least 48-72 hours to repair from the muscles breakdown and stress placed upon them from the intense gym workouts.
10. Remember: More is not always better. Your muscles only start growing outside the gym when you are resting. They don't grow when you are exercising.
Do try my method if you like what you read here. Incredible results may be achieved in 3 months or less !

What was once a lifestyle for a small number of gay men in big cities has become a way of life for many, and the gay gym is now a culture on its own. Muscle Boys: Gay Gym Culture explores the evolution and current structure of this gay subculture that surfaced in San Francisco, West Hollywood, and New York during the 1970s.
Covering ancient Greek gymnasium culture, modern bodybuilding practices, and homoerotic muscle-bound media, Muscles Boys examines the origins of the male athletic ideal. A sociological investigation on masculinity, fitness, HIV, steroids, and sex in the locker room, Muscle Boys dissects the gay gym experience, and celebrates gay body culture and its role in modern gay life.
Author Erick Alvarez offers a candid study of the gay gym from his perspective as a physical trainer in the San Francisco Bay area, and from his interviews and online surveys of nearly 6,000 gay men. Muscle Boys: Gay Gym Culture is an enlightening read for anyone interested in gay body culture, and a valuable resource for academics working in GLBT studies, human sexuality, psychology, or athletics.

I'm going to show you how you can build muscle without a gym. Most people think that you need to be pounding the weights to put on muscle and that's really just a misconception. The reality is that most people don't know how to put on muscle. I've seen people at the gym longer than me, that lift far more than me and I'm twice the size of them. It's almost sad in a way. Muscles don't grow because you go to the gym and lift weights. Muscles grow because they are properly stimulated to the point where they think they have to grow or they're going to die. I'm going to show you how to build muscle without a gym.
The most important aspect of putting on muscle is how you eat. Your diet has to sustain the growth of muscle and if that isn't happening, than you're not going to get any muscle. A lot of people don't understand that. They assume the muscle will grow from the consumption of fat on your body. It doesn't work that way. You need amino acids to build muscle tissue and that comes from mainly protein. Every few hours you should be putting some sort of protein in your body, so your body always has something to build tissue with.
Obviously you're going to need to stimulate some growth, but you can build muscle without a gym. I'm sure you know the basic push ups. They're good, but you always have to mixing it up. Sometimes I do push ups flat on the floor, than other days I'll do it with my feet on the stairs, so I'm elevated. It's not really the weight you end up pushing, it's how you really change things up and sort of shock the muscle into growing.
You can grow major muscles with only short 7 minute workouts.
